Stacey A. Lafitte is a native-Houstonian and Principal of the Law Offices of Stacey A. Lafitte, P.C. Stacey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and enjoyed a high-profile career in public relations in Houston before attending South Texas College of Law, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Stacey is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Stacey understands the ever-changing challenges facing today's families, and is committed to helping families in transition. Stacey is a powerful advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom. She serves on organizing committees for continuing legal education for family law attorneys through her affiliation with South Texas College of Law, and is a member of the Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. She holds active memberships with several legal organizations, including Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Stacey is also a family law mediator, practices collaborative law, and serves as an amicus attorney in family law cases.
Stacey enjoys running, skiing, hiking, playing basketball & volleyball, fly-fishing - and just about every other sport. She serves as President of the Pin Oak Girls' Lacrosse Board of Directors, and is passionate about promoting girls' athletics in schools and in the community. Stacey and her family are active members of the St. Luke's United Methodist Church community.
